Marilyn Monroe’s cake is a must-try dessert. Satisfy your loved ones with this dish, which you will have in a very short time.
For the counter
200 gr sugar
200 gr wheat flour
50 gr walnuts
1 cup milk
1/2 pack of baking powder
For caramel cream
250 gr sugar
200 gr butter
500 ml milk
3 tablespoons flour
2 vanilla ampoules
For whipped cream
350 ml of liquid whipped cream
100 grams of straciatella
In a bowl, mix the egg yolks with the sugar, then add the baking powder, flour, milk, peanuts, vanilla sugar and mix with a mixer for a few minutes.
Pour the walnut batter into a greased baking dish (with removable rings) and place in the oven over medium heat for about 25 minutes, or until the toothpicks are dry. Leave the dough for Marilyn Monroe cake in shape, cool.
Caramel and vanilla cream
Mix starch with 100 ml of milk and mix. Separately, put the sugar for caramel over the heat and when it’s melted, add the butter and stir quickly.
Add the remaining milk and stir gently adding the milk with the starch until it thickens like caramelized cream.
Cream with straciatella
Beat the melted cream with a mixer and add the chocolate chips from scratch, to make the mixture as homogeneous as possible.
Pour the caramel and vanilla cream on top, then put the cream on top once it cools down. Garnish with chocolate chips or even more straciatella. After these steps, the dessert is ready to be served. Good appetite!
