If you want an honest and very healthy dessert, the inverted cake with plums is an excellent dish that you can serve with your loved ones. Here are the ingredients you need to prepare!


5 large eggs, separated

100 gr wheat flour

100 gr white sugar

500 grams of plums

3 tablespoons brown sugar

1 pinch of cinnamon

1 pinch of salt

1 teaspoon baking powder

grated lemon peel

1 tablespoon vanilla essence

butter or pan oil

Preparation method

Preheat the oven to medium heat, 180 degrees. Butter or cake-shaped oil with removable amrgine.

Clean and cut the plums in half (certain varieties can easily be cut, by hand, into two equal parts). Place the plum pieces on the bottom of the plate, facing up.

Mix 3 tablespoons of brown sugar with cinnamon and sprinkle over the plums on the tray. Place the tray in the oven for 10-15 minutes, to caramelize.

Mix egg yolks, white sugar, lemon zest, vanilla essence in a bowl. Beat the egg whites separately and add at the end, slowly, so that the air does not escape from the foam. Add the flour and baking powder little by little, sifted.

Pour over the plums and place in the oven for about 30-40 minutes, until they pass the toothpick test.

Invert the plum cake on a plate and serve with whipped cream or plain. After following these steps, the dessert is ready to be served. Good appetite!
