For the success of this cream, you will need a ripe avocado. You can tell if an avocado is ripe or not by breaking the stem. If the spot where the tail is still green, the avocado is not ripe. But if the area has a light brown color then the avocado is ripe. There is also a chance that the area will be black, which means that the avocado is spoiled.

Another aspect that makes you realize that an avocado is ripe is the color of the skin and its firmness to the touch. A perfect avocado will be dark green in color and the skin will feel slightly soft to the touch.
